Pre-update disclaimer


Hey everyone! 

Regarding the next update, we were going to release it a couple of days ago, but didn't want to obstruct any gigachads that were still doing NNN. Since December is finally here, we're happy to announce that we'll have it published in a couple of hours!

On a more serious note, the delay was really due to technical issues with the rpg elements that we had planned on introducing. Rather than delay further, we'll postpone them for the next updates, and simply release the new story events that we had prepared. We'd rather have the initial release of new mechanics be as polished as possible.

With that out of the way, I feel like I should say a few words about our work on the game overall. Up until this update, we'd been working on this project almost as if it were a full time job, especially in the weeks leading up to each release. Since this isn't currently sustainable, as we have to work our actual day-jobs and keep something of a social life going, we'll have to reduce the workload going forward, either by focusing less on visual quality, or releasing a lower amount of content as we did for this release. Ideally, we'd love it if we could continue to work on this as a full-time thing eventually, and with that in mind, we'll make some adjustments which we hope will help achieve that.

Over the next couple of days, we'll make some changes to the patron tiers which will allow anyone who supports the game to vote on upcoming content, as well as add monthly commissions to higher tiers which we will introduce. Hopefully, this will lead to us being able to justify devoting more time to the game.
